Born and raised in Minnesota, Jay’s passion for culture, education, and connection has always been at the heart of his journey. A graduate of St. Cloud State University with a degree in Education and a specialty in teaching Spanish, Jay took his language skills beyond the classroom—studying abroad at the University of Costa Rica and ultimately visiting 11 Spanish-speaking countries. Fluent in Spanish, he blends cultural fluency with a love of travel and global connection.
But Jay’s journey didn’t stop there.
A 5th-degree black belt in Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan, Jay owned and operated a successful karate studio where he discovered his natural talent for leadership, motivation, and service. These qualities propelled him into the customer service industry, where he thrived—and eventually found his true calling in real estate.
Since transitioning into real estate in 2017, Jay has combined his teaching background, cultural fluency, and people-first mindset to become a powerhouse in the industry. Now in his 8th year, he’s ranked in the top 2% of realtors in Arizona and consistently among the top-performing agents in Minnesota.
Jay is currently licensed in Arizona, Florida, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, making him a trusted resource for clients seeking a second home, investment property, or simply a warm escape from northern winters.
